Richard Burgmeier MD founded Perfect Skin Laser Center in Feb. 2000 with the goal of offering the most advanced laser and skin treatments available. He was one of the first doctors in Arizona to offer the Thermacool face-lift by Thermage, Laser treatments for acne, Photodynamic Skin Rejuvenation with Levulan, and Fraxel laser treatments. Acne scars are a difficult reminder of our skin’s unfortunate past. These marks are left behind following an acne breakout. Acne pimples cause injury deep into our dermis, and as our skin heals collagen is left behind which can result in a scar. There is very little one can do to prevent acne scarring other than to attempt to control their active acne. There are new developments, however, which can treat acne scars and improve their texture.
