Dermal Fillers Raise Acne Scarring

The main problem with acne scars is that they lie bound down and depressed, lower than the surrounding skin. In order to raise up the scarred area, dermal fillers may be used to bring the skin to an even level.

Repeat Injections Needed

Dermal fillers that may be used include hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane® or Perlane®, collagen fillers such as Cosmoderm®, or even fat tissue.
